A Little ABout Me
Hello and welcome to my blog Tasty Slimming - Thinking Thin.
I have always had a love of food, for me food is everything good all wrapped up in one. It's love, care, memories, history, food means so much to so many. Sadly a moment on the lips has left a life time on the hips and after having 2 children and relying on food, especially junk food, to get me through I was left with a body that left me feeling insecure and unhealthy. I finally plucked up the courage to face the scales at a local slimming world club and am now on the journey of re gaining my body. So I thought I might blog it, as you do these days, and that it might help keep me on track.
I love to cook and experiment and re create favourite dishes that bring back memories. Slimming world allows you to do all this and you can get quite ingenius. Here I hope to share some of the recipes that I have tried and those that I have concocted, the successful ones anyway! I do like to keep food as healthy as possible and try to avoid too much artificial sweetener and will often take the extra syns for honey or maple syrup etc although not always. I also hope to share any hints or tips I pick up from the fabulous guys at my group.
